Fairfield, Iowa

The Bruders Family left New York by train to Chicago. Chicago was a common second stop for many northern Europeans. They continued their Journey to the Heartland agricultural state of Iowa and the township of Fairfield. Heinrich Bruders worked in various agricultural positions, expanding his knowledge and experience in growing crops and raising livestock. Heinrich and his wife Johanna established the Bruders legacy as they expanded their family shortly after their arrival to the United States.
